France to Invest €55 Billion in Digital and Technology by 2030

During the second edition of Connex, held today, May 16, at the French Institute of Tunisia, French Ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, announced that France plans to invest €55 billion by 2030 in the digital and technology sectors.

This event, organized in partnership with the French Embassy in Tunisia, Business France, the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ccitf), and the French Institute of Tunisia (IFT), brings together major players in the greentech and deeptech industries for two days of hybrid events focused on connection, sharing, and conviviality.

Connex offers a platform for startups and entrepreneurs to meet key players, share knowledge, discover business opportunities, and access funding. In her speech, the French Ambassador to Tunisia highlighted the importance of being aware of recent climate events and capitalizing on significant experiences in this field. She expressed her confidence in the available expertise and addressed specific French climate objectives, while emphasizing the complex challenges to be overcome.

Anne Guéguen then highlighted the transition towards a greener and more technologically advanced economy, citing concrete examples such as the emergence of young companies and the evolution of transportation modes. She highlighted current opportunities, particularly in terms of infrastructure and access to technology. She emphasized the increased availability and accessibility of technology, as well as the support offered by the ecosystem for emerging businesses.
