FABA Foundation Awards 2nd Edition of FABA Health Endowment - Amina Ben Ayed Prize
The Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation (FABA) organized the official ceremony for the 2nd edition of the FABA Health Endowment - Amina Ben Ayed Prize on Friday, October 3rd, in the afternoon.

Mission and Objectives
As part of its mission to promote scientific and medical innovation, the FABA Health Endowment aims to:
- Strengthen the capabilities of Tunisian public hospitals
- Improve the quality of care
- Facilitate more equitable access to healthcare for all citizens

Award Ceremony
After presenting the ten finalists and engaging in enriching debates, the high-level expert jury awarded a grant of 30,000 dinars to each of the four winners:
- First Place: Mohamed Bejaoui - Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Monastir
- Second Place: Dr. Maha Jammoussi - Hospital-University Assistant, Pediatric Neurology Service, INN, Faculty of Medicine, Tunis
- Third Place (ex aequo): Dr. Rim Boussetta - Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Bab Saâdoun Children's Hospital
- Third Place (ex aequo): Mohamed Jemaa, Cancer Researcher, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Science, Tunisia
Each winner also received a specially designed trophy for this edition and a recognition certificate.
Future Initiatives
The Foundation confirmed its commitment to perpetuating this initiative by announcing the upcoming 3rd edition. It also reaffirmed its intention to expand its support to research projects in a comprehensive approach integrating human, animal, and environmental health to better address public health challenges and improve the quality of life for Tunisians.
