Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hosts Forum on Business Climate in Tunisia
The Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCITNCH) organized a forum titled "Business Climate in Tunisia: Perspectives and Levers of Transformation" on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Gammarth. The event brought together institutional decision-makers, economic actors, and diplomatic representatives to discuss the challenges of attractiveness and competitiveness in Tunisia.
A Continuity of Events
This event is a continuation of the forum organized by the CCITNCH on June 27, 2025, on foreign direct investments (FDI) in Tunisia. This year, the Chamber expanded its analysis to economic diplomacy and levers that can transform the Tunisian business environment.
Program and Panel Discussion
The event took place from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with two sessions moderated by Mr. Anis Wahabi:
- Economic Diplomacy and Attractiveness of FDI: Ambassador Mourad Belhassen, Director General of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jalel Tebib, Director General of the FIPA, and Mohamed Ben Abid, Director General of the Business Climate at the MEP, discussed the priorities of Tunisian economic diplomacy and the orientations related to the investment law.
- Economic Transformations and Competitiveness: Hela Ben Hassine, consultant, and Adel Chaabane, representative of the ICC, debated the economic levers necessary to improve Tunisia's competitiveness and stimulate FDI flows.
The sessions were followed by a Q&A session and a dinner cocktail.
