Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations to Participate in FrancoTech Salon

The Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) will participate in the FrancoTech salon, according to an official press release.

This event will take place in Paris on October 3 and 4, 2024. As part of the Enlien project, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), the CDC plans to select six Tunisian startups to showcase their innovations during the event.

These startups, based in Tunisia or active in France or the Francophone space, will also have the opportunity to compete in an innovation contest organized during the salon.

It is worth noting that the selected startups must specialize in one of the following three areas:

  • Digital trust (such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or medtech)
  • Energy transition (renewable energy, energy efficiency, etc.)
  • Food security (agriculture, agri-food, logistics, etc.)

They will be chosen from among the pre-selected candidates for the innovation contest.

Moreover, the contest will highlight sustainable and responsible solutions, whether they are major innovations or existing improvements.

Registrations are open until August 30, 2024. A jury will evaluate the submitted projects, and the list of finalists will be published on September 15, 2024. The pre-selected startups will then have to present their project in 5 minutes in front of a jury, starting from September 20, 2024.

Three prizes will be awarded: one for each innovation domain (food security, digital, and ecological transition).
