Central Bank of Tunisia Launches National Tender for Anti-Ransomware Solution

The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) announced on Monday, July 29, 2025, the launch of a national tender to acquire and implement an anti-ransomware solution for its backup platform. The objective is to strengthen the protection of its sensitive data against cyber attacks, particularly ransomware, while ensuring the continuity of its services.

In this context, the BCT is seeking a comprehensive solution that includes the acquisition of technology, its implementation, and a training program. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to upgrade the institution's security systems, in line with cybersecurity standards and recommendations.

Interested companies can obtain the consultation file at the Central Bank's headquarters in Tunis or request it by email. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope no later than August 25, 2025, at noon. Only the postmark of the BCT's ordering office will be considered as proof of receipt date.

The application file must include a complete set of administrative, technical, and financial documents, including:

  • A sworn declaration
  • A provisional guarantee of 2,000 dinars
  • A valid CNSS certificate
  • Proof of authorization to market the proposed solutions
  • A detailed technical offer describing the proposed solution, the qualifications of the intervening team, and the implementation methodology

The tender also specifies that any indication of the bidder's identity or financial information on the outer envelope will result in automatic rejection of the bid. Once submitted, the proposals will remain valid for 120 days from the deadline for submission.
