Central Bank of Tunisia Updates List of Institutions Adhering to the Single Electronic Check Platform

The Central Bank of Tunisia has updated the list of institutions adhering to the Single Electronic Check Platform, with the new circular (n°2026-05) coming into effect on April 24, 2026. This update directly concerns banks, financial institutions, and companies, aiming to strengthen the transparency and security of check transactions.

This decision is part of the ongoing reforms initiated in 2024 to modernize check usage in Tunisia. It is based on a regulatory framework already reinforced by several circulars related to the obligations of banks and the functioning of the electronic platform.
