Cairo Prepares to Host the 5th Edition of Startups Without Borders Annual Summit
According to a statement from Wamda, Cairo is gearing up to host the 5th edition of the annual Startups Without Borders summit, themed "Break Borders, Build Global Horizons". The event is scheduled to take place on May 10-11 at the Kamelizer space.
This year's summit will bring together delegations from over 30 countries, featuring more than 3,000 brilliant minds and key industry players, 170 speakers, over 200 investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, and partners to weave a transnational network of entrepreneurship.
International speakers and top investors from metropolitan cities such as London, Tokyo, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, and New York will share their knowledge and stimulate global entrepreneurial spirit. Renowned personalities like Ibrahim Sagna, Sadaharu Seiku, and Michael Lints will share their diverse perspectives and expertise to inspire entrepreneurs to think and act globally.
Valentina Primo, founder and CEO of Startups Without Borders, highlights the importance of this event: "For six years, we have been traveling to cities in the MENA region and Europe with a mission: to build a transnational ecosystem for entrepreneurs, regardless of their origins."
One of the summit's highlights will be the launch of the AI Expo, a new initiative in partnership with American VC firm Blitzscaling Ventures, marking a first of its kind in the Middle East.
In addition to conferences and panels, the two-day event will feature an "Investor Room" facilitating meetings between startups and investors, as well as a corporate matchmaking space. A talent-matching area and scholarships for refugee entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Forward Inc. from the Netherlands, will also be set up.
Furthermore, with over 30 practical workshops, participants will have the opportunity to hone their entrepreneurial skills, from creating a sales funnel to strategically leveraging AI.
