Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy Announces New CEO of Djebel Djerissa Company
The Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy announced on Monday, April 14, the appointment of Khaled Othman as the President and CEO of Djebel Djerissa Company.
Founded in 1907, Djebel Djerissa Company is one of the oldest mining companies in Tunisia. It primarily operates iron ore deposits located in Jérissa, in the Kef Governorate, and Tamera-Douahria, in the Bizerte Governorate.
Over the decades, the company has played a significant role in the economic development of these regions, particularly by providing iron ore to the local steel industry and for export.
