Enactus Tunisia Elects New Chairman
The General Assembly of Enactus Tunisia, held on Thursday, October 23, in Tunis, elected Khaled Bouchoucha, Founder & CEO of Iris Technologies, as the new Chairman, succeeding Farouk Zouhir.
About Khaled Bouchoucha
Khaled Bouchoucha is a graduate in electrical and industrial computer engineering from the National School of Engineers of Monastir (ENIM) and a former aeronautical maintenance engineer. In 2014, he founded Iris Technologies, a Tunisian innovative company specializing in IoT and agritech technologies applied to apiculture, now known as Beekeeper Tech. Under his leadership, Beekeeper Tech has become a regional reference in precision apiculture in the MENA region, collaborating with renowned partners such as the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia (MEWA) and the Royal Commission of AlUla, contributing to sustainable and resilient apiculture and food security in North Africa and the Gulf.
Khaled's Journey with Enactus
As a former Enactor in the Enactus ENIM team, Khaled had already developed the first version of the project that would become his startup during his student days. This prototype earned him the Enactus Tunisia Innovation Award in 2012, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. A member of the Executive Board of Enactus Tunisia since 2023, he now takes on the presidency of the organization.

- Abdelaziz Darghouth, Founder & CEO of PR Power: Vice-Chairman in charge of Relations with Public Authorities
