Khaled Bouchoucha: A Shining Example of Student Engagement and Impact Entrepreneurship
Khaled Bouchoucha's journey showcases the power of student engagement and impact entrepreneurship. A former member of Enactus ENIM, he has just been appointed President of Enactus Tunisia, an organization that trains young people in social entrepreneurship and encourages the creation of sustainable projects across the country.
This same year, his team won the innovation award, a founding experience. "In 2011, I was just a passionate student within Enactus ENIM, happy to have won the innovation award with our team. In 2024, Enactus Tunisia wins the world championship and the adventure continues to evolve," he wrote.
This appointment crowns a remarkable entrepreneurial and scientific career, marked by a strong commitment to sustainable innovation. Co-founder and CEO of Beekeeper Tech, a pioneering startup in precision apiculture technologies, Khaled Bouchoucha has been developing connected devices since 2021 that allow beekeepers to monitor the health of their colonies and improve their productivity. The company, unique in the MENA market, has already sold over 1,000 devices for testing and signed distribution contracts in Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Algeria.
Before Beekeeper Tech, Khaled led IRIS for Bee's Technologies, another company specializing in agricultural innovation. Between 2022 and 2024, he also taught at the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT), where he trained students on technological applications in animal husbandry, particularly apiculture.
Holding a degree in computer engineering from the National Engineering School of Monastir, obtained in 2012, he enriched his career internationally by joining the AgTechUCD Innovation Centre program in Dublin in 2021. He was also part of the scientific committee of the Arab Beekeepers Union, contributing to the strategy of the organization's 13th congress.
