Project Overview
The expansion was presented during a visit by the Parliamentary Commission for Industry, Trade, Natural Resources, Energy, and Environment to the Kairouan governorate. The delegation inspected several industrial projects in the region, accompanied by local authorities and company officials. The project involves the construction of a new industrial unit spanning 4 hectares. Work is currently underway, with completion scheduled for November 2026. Production is set to begin in 2027, with a gradual increase in operational capacity. This new infrastructure will enable the manufacture of automotive cable harnesses for international constructors. The company already collaborates with brands like KIA and Hyundai and will expand its production to meet new demands, including those of Mercedes, thereby strengthening its position in the export-oriented automotive industry.

The project is expected to have a significant social impact in terms of employment in the region. The initial phase is expected to generate around 2,000 jobs, while the total could reach 5,000 jobs once the unit is fully operational. These recruitments will primarily concern production and assembly activities.
