Tunisian LegalTech Startup Juridoc Secures New Investment to Accelerate Expansion in Africa
The Tunisian startup Juridoc, specialized in legal technologies (LegalTech), has received a new joint investment from Go Big Partners and 216 Capital Ventures to accelerate its expansion in Africa. This funding aims to strengthen its presence in the OHADA region, a group of 17 West and Central African countries with a unified legal framework for business.
Juridoc.tn has established itself as a reference in the digitalization of legal services in Tunisia, offering innovative solutions for the management and automation of legal documents. With this investment, the company will be able to extend its offer to businesses and entrepreneurs operating in the OHADA region, providing them with simplified and accessible services through a digital platform.
Go Big Partners and 216 Capital Ventures, both beneficiaries of the ANAVA Fund of Funds managed by Smart Capital, play a key role in financing Tunisian startups. Launched in 2021, ANAVA has a target of €100 million to boost the venture capital ecosystem in Tunisia. In July 2024, the fund invested €4.5 million in GO LIVE, an €8 million fund managed by Go Big Partners and dedicated to B2B startups in strategic sectors such as AgriTech, BioTech, CleanTech, cybersecurity, and HealthTech.
This investment marks a strategic milestone for Juridoc and is part of a larger dynamic aimed at modernizing the legal sector in Africa through innovative technological solutions. By facilitating access to digital legal services, Juridoc aims to transform the way businesses and individuals interact with business law in the region.
The startup's expansion also illustrates the growing importance of LegalTech in Africa, a sector driven by digitalization and the increasing need for legal solutions adapted to local realities. With the support of its investors, Juridoc is well-positioned to become a key player in the digital transformation of law in Africa.
