Jumia Ceases Operations in Tunisia
After several years of activity in Tunisia, Jumia has made the decision to definitively cease its operations in the country following an in-depth evaluation of our current operational model.
The company is optimizing its resources to focus on markets with stronger growth trajectories.
This cessation of activity will be effective by the end of December 2024.
This decision implies the termination of all contractual relationships between any entity and Jumia regarding the status of seller on Jumia's online sales platform. Consequently, this constitutes the formal termination of the contractual relationship with Jumia E-Services SARL, which will be effective on December 31, 2024, after which the Jumia platform will no longer be accessible.
Jumia will settle all payments due prior to the effective termination date, in accordance with contractual obligations, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
