Tunisian Swimmer Ahmed Jaouadi Qualifies for 800m Freestyle Final at Paris 2024 Olympics
Yesterday, July 29, Ahmed Jaouadi, a Tunisian swimmer, secured a spot in the 800m freestyle final at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
During the qualifying rounds, Jaouadi finished first in the 3rd series with an impressive time of 7:42.07, outpacing Italian Gregorio Paltrinieri, who finished in 7:42.48.
This time places Jaouadi in second position in the qualifications, just behind Irish swimmer Daniel Wiffen, who achieved the best time of the series with 7:41.53.
The final will take place tonight at 8 pm. Only the top eight swimmers from the qualifying rounds will advance to this ultimate course.
