The Ministers of Equipment, Slah Zouari, and State Domains and Real Estate, Wajdi Hedhili, agreed on Thursday, July 31, to accelerate the procedures to relaunch the operation of several state-owned quarries in the Jendouba governorate.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Equipment, the two ministers visited Bulla Regia (Jendouba governorate) in the morning, where they observed the condition of several state-owned quarries and identified the obstacles hindering the supply of public construction sites with extracted materials.
This visit is part of an in-depth examination of the situation of these quarries in the region. The ministers met with several operators and were informed of the difficulties encountered in ensuring a regular supply of materials. They agreed to accelerate the procedures to put these quarries back into operation as soon as possible, thereby guaranteeing the supply of necessary materials for the smooth implementation of public projects and supporting their progress.
