Investment Boom in Tunisia: APIA Records 3,255 Operations in 2025
During the first seven months of 2025, the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APIA) recorded 3,255 investment operations, with a total value of 641.8 million dinars. According to published figures, 73% of projects were declared remotely, representing 79% of the total investment volume, confirming the effectiveness of the digital procedures put in place by the agency.
These investments are expected to create 1,485 permanent jobs, contributing to the strengthening of the employment market in Tunisia. The approved projects also benefited from public subsidies totaling 56.6 million dinars, equivalent to nearly 25% of the investment value, as part of the investment support mechanisms.
The APIA highlights that the adoption of remote declaration facilitates access to investment and reflects the willingness to modernize the administrative process to attract more project holders. This development is a positive sign for the Tunisian economy, indicating a growing interest in investing in the country and a commitment to simplifying administrative procedures to foster economic growth.
