The countdown has started for Tunisian industries. On July 15, 2026, at Novation City in Sousse, the 5th edition of the CETIME Sectoral Meetings will put a strategic issue at the center of the debates: the ability of companies to respond to the new environmental requirements imposed by international markets.
Focus on Automotive and Aeronautics Sectors
This edition is dedicated to the automotive and aeronautics sectors, at a time when decarbonization is no longer a voluntary commitment, but a determining factor of competitiveness. With the strengthening of European standards, particularly through the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Tunisian exporters must now demonstrate their ability to reduce their carbon footprint to preserve their access to the European market.
Objective: From Diagnosis to Execution
The objective of this meeting is clear: to move from diagnosis to execution. After identifying the main challenges in 2025, CETIME wants to accelerate the implementation of concrete solutions around energy efficiency, circular economy, industrial digitalization, and technological innovation.
Mobilization of Industrial, Professional, and Academic Actors
To achieve this, the center is counting on a broad mobilization bringing together industrialists, professional federations, support institutions, and academic actors, including GITAS, TAA, FIPA, APII, ENISO, and INSAT. This approach aims to bring together the needs of contractors and local research and development capabilities.
CETIME: A Technological Platform for Industrial Development
Created in 1982, CETIME aims to play a role as a technological platform to support the upgrading of companies. With 8 competence centers and 18 laboratories, the center offers SMEs the means of testing, prototyping, and qualification necessary to meet international standards.
Ecological Transition: A New Differentiation Lever for Tunisian Industry
Beyond regulatory constraints, the ecological transition is becoming a new lever for differentiation for the Tunisian industry. In the automotive and aeronautics sectors, the challenge is now to move from a competitiveness logic based on costs to a model based on technology, compliance, and added value.
