Tunisia Ranks 8th in Africa in Terms of Education Index
According to a recent ranking by Data Pandas evaluating the education index in 177 countries, Tunisia has been ranked 8th in the African continent.
The index assesses the number of expected and actual years of schooling, as well as academic performance at all levels.
At the African level, Seychelles tops the ranking with a global education index of 0.681, placing them 70th globally. They are followed by South Africa (0.627) and Mauritius (0.601), which occupy the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
In North Africa, Tunisia stands out by taking the lead with an index of 0.469, positioning itself 116th globally. It is followed by Algeria (0.451), while Egypt (0.443) and Morocco (0.343) bring up the rear.
On a global scale, Iceland takes the top spot with an index of 0.938, closely followed by Germany with a score of 0.917.
