March 2026: A Busy Month for Tunisian Taxpayers

The Tunisian tax authority, Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI), has released its fiscal calendar for March 2026, with no less than seven deadlines that individuals, businesses, and export companies must meet. Missing one of these deadlines can be costly, so here's what you need to do and when:

Key Deadlines for March 2026

  • March 2: First deadline of the month. Companies and businesses not yet connected to the online declaration system must submit their monthly declaration for January 2026 by this Monday. A short deadline that requires anticipation.
  • March 5: Vehicle registration tax (vignette) for vehicles with even registration numbers. Last chance to pay the tax before penalties are added to the bill.
  • March 6: Vehicle registration tax (vignette) for vehicles with odd registration numbers. Same obligation, one day later, to avoid congestion at the counters.
  • March 16: Deadline for individuals. Last chance to submit your monthly declaration. No need to wait until the last minute.
  • March 23: Deadline for connected businesses. For companies that have adopted the online declaration and payment system, the deadline is March 23. A dematerialized process, but a date that remains imperative.
  • March 25: Major deadline for companies. This is probably the most important deadline of the month. Companies whose financial year ended on December 31 (including fully export-oriented companies) must submit their annual corporate tax declaration and pay the provisional installment. A file that must be prepared well in advance.
  • March 30: Final deadline. The month ends with a final deadline for companies not connected to the online declaration system. A last chance to regularize the situation before turning the page on March.
