Olive Oil Sector Business Mission to Take Place in Libya
A business mission dedicated to the olive oil sector will be held from February 25 to 28 in Misrata, Libya, at the initiative of the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with its Libyan counterpart.
This trip, aimed at businesses in the sector, will include meetings with Libyan traders as well as visits to specialized structures involved in the import and export of olive oil, according to the Chamber. Exchanges with local economic institution officials are also planned.
Interested companies must submit their participation forms before February 17.
In 2024, Tunisia's olive oil exports generated 4.86 billion dinars, a 20% increase compared to 2023, covering 64 markets. Tunisia now ranks 4th in the world among olive oil exporters, according to the Export Promotion Center (Cepex).
