State Maintains Reference Price for Extra Virgin Olive Oil
While olives quietly undergo their transformation in oil mills, the State remains vigilant. The Ministries of Agriculture and Trade have decided to maintain the mobile reference price for extra virgin olive oil.
Current Price
Extra virgin olive oil continues to be traded in bulk at 10,200 dinars per kilogram, a price that is neither set in stone nor carved in olive wood. In their joint statement published on Tuesday evening, the two ministries recall that this price is revised on a weekly basis, and whenever the situation requires it.
Commitment to Success
The two ministries reaffirm their commitment to supporting all stages of the campaign to ensure its success and preserve the rights of all stakeholders. By maintaining a close eye on the market, the State aims to guarantee a fair and stable environment for olive oil producers, traders, and consumers alike.
