National Olive Oil Storage Program Launched for 2025/2026 Campaign

The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries has launched a national olive oil storage program for the 2025/2026 campaign, targeting farmers, oil mill owners, and exporters. The initiative, implemented by the National Oil Board (ONH), aims to stabilize the market and provide financial support to stakeholders in the sector.

Key Program Details

  • A storage premium of 300 dinars per ton will be granted to exporters and oil mill owners
  • Farmers will receive a slightly higher premium of 330 dinars per ton
  • The program plans to store between 100,000 to 150,000 tons of olive oil for a period of 3 months
