Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Ben Ismail Farm Wins "Extra Gold" Medal at International "Biol Novello" Competition for 8th Consecutive Year
The extra virgin olive oil from Ben Ismail Farm, located in the Toukaber region of Mjez el Beb (Béja governorate), has won the "Extra Gold" medal at the international "Biol Novello" competition for the 8th consecutive year.
This prestigious award was presented at the 30th edition of the Italian competition, which saw the participation of 181 countries this year. Only 10 olive oils, harvested early (before November 15), received the "Extra Gold" medal.
Ben Ismail Farm's oil, represented by the Toukaber brand, is the only Arab and African oil to win this prestigious prize, organized by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with major global olive oil producers, including Spain and Italy.
Notably, Ben Ismail Farm has committed to environmentally friendly production, using renewable energy for water and electricity production. This eco-responsible approach aligns with the family's goal of maintaining impeccable quality while preserving the environment.
This award, which crowns several international and national distinctions won by Ben Ismail Farm over the years, is a moment of pride for Tunisia.
