HIDE: Pioneering Artificial Intelligence Education in Tunisia
Founded on July 8, 2024, and affiliated with the University of Tunis, HIDE (Higher Institute of Digital Engineering of Tunis) is a public institution located in Bab Saadoun, offering a five-year program in artificial intelligence with Anglophone instruction.
The curriculum consists of two years of integrated preparatory studies, followed by three years of engineering:
- One year of common core studies
- Two years of specialized studies, with a choice of three innovative tracks:
- AI and Data Science (software and AI model creation)
- AI and Industry and Robotics (hardware and implementation of AI systems in machines)
- AI and Arts (digital arts, virtual art, and video games)
HIDE welcomed its first cohort in 2024, marking a new era in IT and AI education in Tunisia.
