Tunisian Diaspora Transfers and Tourism Revenue See Significant Growth
According to figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia, transfers from the Tunisian diaspora have increased by 3.16%, reaching 5.79 billion Tunisian dinars as of September 20, 2024, compared to 5.61 billion dinars for the same period in 2023.
Tourism revenue has also seen a significant increase, rising by 7.44% to 5.40 billion dinars, compared to 5.03 billion dinars in 2023.
In total, transfers from the Tunisian diaspora and tourism revenue amount to 11.19 billion Tunisian dinars as of September 20, 2024.
