Habib Kamoun and His Group Continue to Accumulate Banque de Tunisie Shares

It is clear that Habib Kamoun and his Group are not missing any opportunity to acquire a significant quantity of Banque de Tunisie shares. Together, they have the status of price stabilizers, as they are always present whenever an offer arises.

On Monday, a significant transaction declaration informed the market that Habib Kamoun had purchased 17,000 Banque de Tunisie shares for a total amount of 87,380 TND.

This is the fourth transaction of its kind, either directly by the investor or through one of his Group's companies, in 2024. The family-owned Group now holds 24,968,775 shares, representing 9.247% of the capital of the Tunisian banking leader. This makes them the second-largest Tunisian shareholder after the heirs of the late Abdellatif El Fekih.

The Group is gradually approaching the symbolic threshold of 10%, although this still requires the purchase of 2,031,225 shares. There is sufficient liquidity on the market to acquire such a quantity, but finding a seller will be necessary.

As of Monday, August 12, the Group's participation is valued at 128,339 MTND. We do not know the average cost of acquisition, but it is certainly low compared to the current price. It's always a good deal for them to have more shares.
