Crossing Borders for Growth: 10 Startups Selected for Wiki Startup's Growth'Act Program

On June 14, entrepreneurs, business angels, representatives of large companies, incubators, and media outlets gathered for the 2nd edition of "Crossing Borders For Growth" as part of Wiki Startup's Growth'Act program. This program offers financing of up to 350,000 TND. For this edition, 10 startups were selected, offering a unique immersive experience and a visa for participants.

A Proximity-Based Program

The program's strong point is its proximity to investors, tailored training, and access to markets, explained the CEO of a participating startup. This is an opportunity for demonstrations at the heart of innovation, as well as a chance to discover the inner workings of project holders and exchange with industry actors. "This proximity allows for developing partnerships or finding financing," emphasized Chiraz Arfaoui, Deputy General Manager of Wiki Startup.

Three Choices for Guests

Guests had three options:

  • Accepted (Green): The guest is interested in exchanging more and pursuing further.
  • Rejected (Red): The guest is not in line with the sector of interest.
  • Incomplete (Black): The guest has an interest and wants to refine their concept.

Diverse Startups Selected

A wide range of startups were selected, each specializing in a specific domain: artisanal crafts, agritech, tourism, services, and more. The selected startups are:

  • Autoecoleplus
  • Waf Waf House
  • Baity
  • Kalys
  • Smart Farm
  • Seniatna
  • Future Fuel
  • ResaPrivee
  • Papritech
  • Bambinosit

Selection and Accompaniment

"The selection of startups was made with our partner, the UGFS investment fund, to enhance products and aid in the internationalization of startups," explained Chiraz Arfaoui. They benefited from 6 months of accompaniment, including B2B meetings with investors and experts, as well as participation in international fairs.
