Powered by a customized version of Gemini 2.0, AI Mode enables users to ask multi-level questions and refine their searches using follow-up questions. Unlike AI Overviews, which offers synthetic answers, this tool appears as a distinct tab in Google Search, alongside Images, News, and Videos.
Currently in experimental phase in the United States, AI Mode aims to meet the demand of users seeking AI-generated results for queries that require more in-depth exploration.
