The Tunisian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Holds its 46th General Assembly

The Tunisian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Tunisia) held its 46th General Assembly on June 12, 2025, in Tunis, marked by the election of a new executive committee and the re-election of Ghazi El Biche as President.

The vote re-elected Ghazi El Biche (van Laack Tunisia) as President of the Chamber. Hichem Elloumi (COFICAB) and Ibrahim Debache (Ennakl Automobiles) were elected as Vice-Presidents. The executive committee, composed of Tunisian and German members, was partially renewed. On the German side, Wissem Badri (Kromberg & Schubert Tunisia), Volker Kasten (Nani), Adel Ben Khaled (Nexans Autoelectric-ACT&ECT), and Mohamed Yassine Bouagila (Sartorius Stedim Bioprocess) were elected. On the Tunisian side, Nazeh Ben Ammar (Excellencia), Sonia Mahjoub (Focus), and Mehdi Tekaya (Wevioo) were elected.

The session also featured an intervention by Mhamed Ben Abid, Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation of Business Reforms. He participated in a discussion focused on "Tunisia: Opportunities and Challenges for the Private Sector and Foreign Direct Investments in a Changing World."

Finally, Jörn Bousselmi, General Manager of AHK Tunisia, presented an overview of the first results of the annual survey conducted among German companies operating in Tunisia.
