Genesis Energy Group to Install 10.5 GW of New Electric Capacity in Africa

Genesis Energy Group, a pan-African company specializing in energy infrastructure, has announced its intention to install 10.5 gigawatts (GW) of new electric capacity in Africa over the next five years.

It is worth noting that this initiative will be carried out in partnership with several international actors, including the US government, to improve access to electricity on the continent.

Genesis Energy Group utilizes various technologies such as solar photovoltaic, battery energy storage, natural gas conversion to electricity, hydroelectricity, and wind energy to develop its projects.

Founded in 2005, the group has already invested in several African countries, including Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Benin, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
