This Wednesday, the El Menzah startup village hosted the official launch of FundU, a digital platform designed to structure and boost startup fundraising in the early stages. Conceived and initiated by Walid Daas, founder and CEO of FundU.
A Comprehensive Toolbox for Founders
The platform offers a complete set of tools, enabling founders to:
- Create a clear, structured, and visible startup profile.
- Centralize their documents in a secure data room, ready for investors.
- Benefit from smart advice via artificial intelligence to assess their preparation level.
- Track their progress through a dedicated dashboard and fundraising checklists.
Smart Questionnaire and Automated Evaluation
FundU also features a smart company presentation questionnaire, a guided tool that helps founders structure their narrative around their mission, market, product, traction, team, and roadmap. At each step, AI suggests real-time improvement tracks to refine the pitch and highlight key investment dossier elements.
Another innovative feature, currently being deployed, is the automatic evaluation of investment readiness. Thanks to an AI-generated score, startups can visualize their strengths, identify weaknesses, and prioritize work axes to maximize their chances of attracting the right investors.
13 Startups Already Onboard
Today, 13 startups have already joined FundU, with several having validated and visible profiles on the platform. Others are in the finalization process, while an opening to investors is underway, allowing them to consult available profiles, according to Walid Daas.
The platform presentation was preceded by a panel discussion on early-stage financing in Tunisia, moderated by the founder of FundU.
