French Tech Tunis Summit: Where Innovation Meets Connection
Today, the 2nd edition of the French Tech Tunis Summit kicked off in a vibrant atmosphere of innovation at The Dot. This event, dedicated to the Deeptech and Artificial Intelligence ecosystem, brought together key figures in tech, bold startups, and international investors around a clear objective: to connect, inspire, and propel the technologies of tomorrow.
Ecosystem in Effervescence: AI, Innovation, and Partnerships
The tone was set from the very first roundtable discussion, titled "Ecosystem in Effervescence: AI, Innovation, and Partnerships." Among the speakers, Mano Madi, Director of Strategy for Development and Entrepreneurship at SODESI (France), shared his journey as an entrepreneur and accelerator: "I've created 4 companies, I've failed 3 times, but I've come out stronger. Today, my mission is to support those who want to start their own business while keeping a link with their employer."
Madi emphasized the various forms this dynamic takes in France – whether strategic, technological, or frugal – and the importance of a structured, living, and partnership-based ecosystem.
France Télévisions: Witness and Driver of Open Innovation
Kati Bremme, Director of Innovation and Foresight at France Télévisions, shared her experience of integrating emerging technologies into public service: "Since 2015, we've been exploring the uses of AI in media. Innovation is in our DNA. But today, faced with accelerating technological change, we can't do everything alone. We work with startups, incubators, and have created an internal accelerator to test faster."
For her, AI, especially generative AI, requires unprecedented agility and a strong mesh with the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
