7th Edition of the Governance Forum

The Tunisian Center for Corporate Governance of the IACE is organizing the 7th edition of the Governance Forum on Saturday, October 18, 2025. This edition will focus on evaluating Law No. 2005-96, related to strengthening the security of financial relationships, promulgated in 2005. 20 years later, it has become essential not only to measure its impact but also to examine its ability to respond to current economic and financial changes.

Main Axes of the Law

The law is based on three main axes:

  • Strengthening financial transparency and good governance
  • Strengthening the independence of auditors and creating audit committees
  • Dynamizing the national business register (RNE) system

Objective of the Governance Forum

The Governance Forum aims to assess the application of this law while highlighting the shortcomings and drawbacks that have emerged in the Tunisian system and corporate governance. This meeting will bring together business leaders, accountants, auditors, lawyers, and various economic actors for a constructive debate, aiming to formulate recommendations and propose reform paths adapted to the current context.

IACE's Role

Through this meeting, the IACE intends to reaffirm its role as a catalyst for reflection and dialogue, serving the promotion of modern, effective, and inclusive governance.
