Protecting Trainees from Fraudulent Practices in Paramedical Specialties

In a recent statement, the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training emphasized the importance of protecting trainees from fraudulent practices in paramedical specialties. It is essential to note that basic vocational training in these specialties is subject to specific conditions.

These training programs must be accredited in accordance with the provisions of Article 25 of the specifications governing the creation and operation of private vocational training structures, as specified in the joint decree of the Ministries of Vocational Training and Employment, and Public Health, No. 36 of July 27, 2011.

In this context, the ministry urges private sector trainees to verify that the training institution is accredited for the relevant specialty. It is also recommended to ensure the validity of this accreditation and the admission conditions to the training program.

The ministry has also reminded private vocational training establishments that any training practice in paramedical specialties without legal accreditation, as well as the organization of training programs in areas such as "alternative medicine, acupuncture, cupping, massage, and massage therapy," are liable to administrative and criminal prosecution.

For more information, trainees can consult the list of accredited training centers and specialties in private vocational training institutions, available on the ministry's website at www.emploi.gov.tn, or contact the regional directorate of employment and vocational training in their region.
