French Development Agency and Expertise France Launch Call for Applications for Public Finance Evaluators Training Program in Africa

The French Development Agency and Expertise France, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Program, have launched a call for applications for a training program aimed at public finance evaluators in Africa.

The objective is to train French-speaking professionals from various sectors, including public administration, technical and financial partners, academia, and NGOs.

Applicants must have solid experience in public finance management. The selection will be based on criteria including relevant professional experience, understanding of the PEFA framework and challenges, motivation to become an evaluator, and short-term availability.

The training, which will take place in Abidjan from September 30 to October 3, will cover the PEFA 2016 framework as well as complementary aspects related to gender and climate. PEFA is currently the recognized standard for evaluating public finance management through quantitative indicators.

Note that applications are open until July 15.
