Tunisia Featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 2025

Tunisia is represented in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 2025 ranking by a single individual: Hayfa Sdiri, 27, Chief Impact Officer at RIVET. She is distinguished in the Social Impact, Sports & Lifestyle category, which highlights young leaders using innovation to generate measurable social impact.

This annual Forbes ranking identifies 30 individuals under the age of 30 per category, selected for their influence, innovation capacity, and concrete impact at the regional or global level. In 2025, Hayfa Sdiri is the only Tunisian to be featured, confirming the rise of African and Arab profiles engaged in the impact economy.

Early Beginnings and Entrepreneurial Spirit

At just 18 years old, Hayfa Sdiri launched Entr@crush, an online incubator dedicated to entrepreneurial education in the MENA region. The concept was innovative: offering simplified training in ten Arabic dialects to make entrepreneurship accessible to young people often excluded from traditional training circuits. Two years later, the project was acquired by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and relaunched under the name SDG Camps, in reference to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Career Progression and Impact

After the acquisition, Hayfa Sdiri joined the UNDP as a Youth & Innovation Associate. She completely rethought the SDG Camps program and ensured its implementation. The result: over 10,000 young Tunisians under the age of 30, mostly from marginalized communities, benefited from the program, which combined training, support, and networking.

In 2022, she continued her career in social impact by joining RIVET, an international micro-financing platform. The stated goal is ambitious: to distribute one million micro-grants to projects led by young people around the world. To date, RIVET has already supported over 1,300 projects in 66 countries, covering sectors ranging from social entrepreneurship to community sports.

Current Role and Responsibilities

As Chief Impact Officer, Hayfa Sdiri today oversees youth engagement, strategic partnerships, and impact measurement. Her role is to ensure that each micro-financing generates a lasting effect on local communities, while strengthening the credibility of the inclusive financing model carried by RIVET.

A New Generation of Leaders

Beyond the individual distinction, this recognition by Forbes highlights a new generation of Tunisian leaders who are betting on impact, inclusion, and social innovation rather than traditional economic models. Hayfa Sdiri's career path illustrates a fundamental trend: entrepreneurship is no longer just a driver of growth, but a tool for large-scale social transformation.
