Tunisia Participates in the 43rd Edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates
The 43rd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair kicked off on Wednesday and will run until November 17th. Yesterday, the Academy of the Arabic Language presented the final version of the Historical Corpus of the Arabic Language, comprising 127 volumes, during a press conference held at the Expo Centre Sharjah, the fair's headquarters.
Tunisian researchers contributed to the continuous research and verification efforts that preceded the completion of this dictionary project, which spanned seven years from 2018 to 2024.
Furthermore, significant scientific and material resources were made available to a team of linguists and specialists in Arabic language history from various Arab countries who collaborated on this literary project of grand scale.
A dedicated website for the Historical Corpus of the Arabic Language and its 127 volumes will be open to academics, linguists, researchers, and enthusiasts of the Arabic language.
