Tunisian Financial App Flouci Ranked Among Top 50 Fintechs in MENA Region by Forbes
The Tunisian financial app Flouci, developed by Kaoun, has been ranked among the top 50 fintechs in the MENA region in 2025 by Forbes. This recognition highlights the growing impact of this super financial app designed to facilitate access to banking services and payments in Africa.
Comprehensive and Inclusive Offer
Flouci offers a complete range of services, including free bank accounts linked to an IBAN, savings accounts, and virtual and physical cards in Tunisian dinars. The app also integrates a mobile wallet, enabling cash withdrawals at ATMs without a card, in-person transactions with partner merchants, as well as bill payment and mobile top-up.
Growing Adoption
By the end of 2024, Flouci had surpassed 305,000 downloads, with 67,000 active users. Its transaction volume exceeded $91.2 million, confirming its central role in the Tunisian financial ecosystem.
Expansion and New Features
The Tunisian fintech aims to expand to Morocco, Algeria, and Benin in 2025. Its development accelerated in 2024 with its registration as a payment facilitator, enabling it to expand its services to businesses. Among the upcoming innovations, Flouci plans to launch a SoftPOS solution, which turns a smartphone into a payment terminal, as well as a check digitization feature to simplify collections.
