Build Up Tunisia Project Comes to a Close After 12 Months of Intensive Work

After 12 months of intense work, the Build Up Tunisia project, an initiative by Flat6Labs in partnership with SPARK and funded by the European Union, is coming to an end. This program, which aimed to improve the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia, has demonstrated significant and promising results.

Accompanying Entrepreneurs to Success

The heart of the project consists of accompanying 8 support structures for development and implementing a support program that adds value to the community through sessions combining group training, collaborative workshops, and individual sessions, both online and in-person.

Impressive Results

With over 335 applications received, 48 entrepreneurs benefited from these programs, spread across 12 regions of Tunisia, in an interactive framework focused on commercial expansion, with interventions from successful leaders and entrepreneurs in the local and regional ecosystem. National and international mentors and experts also contributed, sharing their expertise to help these project holders achieve their objectives.

Empowering Entrepreneurs

Faten Aissi, Deputy Director at Flat6Labs Tunisia, stated: "This fantastic adventure has reinforced the skills of accompanied individuals and structures in business planning and management, prepared them for international expansion, and prepared them for investment by accessing potential investors. Build Up Tunisia has thus prepared a new generation of Tunisian entrepreneurs, ready to innovate and grow in an increasingly competitive environment."

Closing Ceremony and Panel Discussion

During the closing ceremony, guests attended a panel discussion titled "Support program components, How to Impact Your Community?" featuring three guests from different countries: Noran A. Elarbi, Project Manager at Tatweer Research in Libya, Fadi Souilem, CEO of Coworky in Tunisia, and Anouar Hachemane, CEO of School Up in Algeria.

Promoting Entrepreneurial Culture

This panel addressed the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in different countries and explored strategies to promote entrepreneurial culture. The speakers discussed the importance of creating solid support ecosystems and developing programs that respond to the specific needs of each community.
