Tunisia to Host 8th Edition of FITA2025 Conference on May 6-7, 2025
Tunisia will host the 8th edition of the international conference "Financing Investment & Trade in Africa – FITA2025" on May 6-7, 2025, bringing together over 2,000 participants from more than 60 countries, announced Anis Jaziri, President of the Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC).
This event is initiated by the TABC in partnership with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economy, and Planning. It will revolve around the theme "Boosting Africa's Transformation".
This edition holds particular significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the TABC, marking a decade of commitment to promoting economic integration between Tunisia and Africa.
Over the years, FITA has become a pan-African reference platform, bringing together project holders, decision-makers, funders, and investors around structuring partnerships for the future of the continent. The 2025 edition will address key issues in African development: industrial transformation, energy transition, digitalization, infrastructure modernization, logistics, and tourism.
According to Anis Jaziri, FITA2025 will be a pivotal moment to accelerate the transformation dynamic of the continent, bringing together talents, strategic visions, and opportunities. Expected attendees include ministers, high-ranking government officials, leaders of international and regional institutions, as well as several hundred foreign CEOs, African investment promotion agencies, and Tunisian economic operators.
The program features 14 high-level panels, 10 thematic side events, and 7 workshops. Five countries will be honored: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, and Guinea Conakry, with dedicated sessions.
FITA PITCH DAYS, a new feature this year, will allow innovative project holders to present their ideas to international investors. BtoB and BtoG spaces will also be set up to facilitate targeted meetings. Finally, a digital matchmaking platform will be accessible from April 14, 2025, offering participants the opportunity to schedule their professional meetings ahead of the event.
