Key Tax Deadlines for Tunisian Businesses and Taxpayers in October 2026

Tunisian businesses and taxpayers should note four critical tax deadlines for October 2026. The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) has released its monthly tax calendar, which outlines specific due dates based on the taxpayer’s status and the method of filing used.

October 2026 Tax Calendar

  • October 16, 2026: This is the final deadline for the submission of monthly tax declarations by individual taxpayers.
  • October 20, 2026: Taxpayers subject to the lump-sum regime (régime forfaitaire), as well as those attached to the actual regime (régime réel), must submit their quarterly declarations by this date.
  • October 28, 2026: Legal entities registered in the e-filing and remote payment system must submit their monthly tax declarations.
  • October 28, 2026: The same date also marks the deadline for monthly tax declarations for legal entities that are not registered in the e-filing and remote payment system.

Important Note on Deadlines

The DGI also highlights a practical provision: if the final day for submitting a tax declaration falls on a public holiday or a Sunday, the submission may be made on the following day without incurring any penalties.
