Cinema Jet Festival: A Creative Breath of Fresh Air

The "Cinema Jet" festival unfolds like a creative breath, bringing cinema to spectators wherever they are, outside traditional theaters and into the heart of open spaces. This cultural project combines the seventh art, environment, and society, transforming cities, villages, forests, and oases into vibrant screens filled with stories and images.

A Project with a Broad Reach

The festival aims to cover the entire Tunisian territory, from north to south, making cinema a bridge between all regions. The European Union in Tunisia has chosen to collaborate with the CinemaTdour initiative due to the project's concrete and striking impact on the ground, particularly in popular neighborhoods. In just one year, it has directly reached over 35,000 people through tangible initiatives and continuous follow-up.

More than Just Screenings

Cinema Jet is not just a series of projections: it's a space for encounters, creativity, and dialogue, where cinema engages with major contemporary issues: environment, youth, equality, social dialogue, and local development.

2025 Edition: Tabarka (Jendouba) and Nefta (Tozeur)

This edition will take place in two key locations:

  • Tabarka, from September 12 to 21
  • Nefta, from October 10 to 19

The projections in Tabarka will be held outdoors using CinemaTdour's mobile screen, then will move to the heart of the desert in Nefta via the itinerant cinema truck. Two different formats, one goal: to offer all Tunisians, throughout the country, the opportunity to discover cinema and participate in the festival's cultural activities.

Environment at the Heart of the Programming

This edition also places the environment at the center of its programming.
