National Seminar on Women's Economic Integration in Agriculture
The Minister of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly, Asma Jebri, inaugurated a national seminar on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Tunis, dedicated to the economic integration of women in the agricultural sector. Organized by the National Observatory for Combating Violence Against Women, in collaboration with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), this event aims to study ways to ensure rural women's access to economic resources and support their agricultural investments.

- The minister emphasized that female labor in rural areas constitutes a major economic lever, with 14% of permanent employees and 43% of seasonal workers, whose contribution is essential to national food security.
- She also highlighted the ministry's efforts to diversify economic support programs, including through loans and the creation of income sources adapted to the realities of female farmers, with around 200 beneficiaries and over 2 million dinars committed since 2023.
