Falsafa Project: A Novel Initiative for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility

The Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (Insat) has recently marked the launch of the Falsafa project, officially inaugurated on May 2, with the signing of the UNESCO Chair "Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility" (DDRS).

This innovative project brings together several renowned institutions in Tunisia, including Insat, Enim, Enis, Enig, and Esim. The agreement signed during the ceremony goes beyond national borders, incorporating French partners such as Insa Lyon, Centrale Méditerranée, Insa Valor, and Rmeim. A budget of €600,000 has been allocated to this project over two years.

The main objectives of Falsafa, as expressed in a statement by Enig, include:

  • Establishing DDRS teaching modules with the creation of a Fablab for direct practical application
  • Organizing an international colloquium
  • Creating an international journal
  • Establishing a network of institutions adhering to the fundamental principles of UNESCO DDRS Chairs, including Mediterranean and sub-Saharan institutions.

This project aims to promote sustainable development and social responsibility, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between institutions in Tunisia, France, and beyond.
