It has been over a week since the electronic invoicing obligation for service provision operations came into effect, in accordance with the provisions of Article 53 of Law No. 17-2025 of December 12, 2025, related to the 2026 finance law. On this occasion, the Ministry of Finance specified, in a statement, that this measure will be applied with flexibility to facilitate access, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as for certain sectors of activity. "The ultimate goal is to avoid any disruption or disorganization and to limit the negative impacts on the country's economic situation," the same source emphasizes.
