Ernst & Young Announces Its Withdrawal from Eight Francophone African Countries Starting January 2026
The countries affected are: Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo, Gabon, Madagascar, Chad, Senegal, and Togo.
This withdrawal is part of a strategy to refocus on priority markets, particularly Anglophone Africa.
Local entities will continue to exist, but under a new brand, without a direct link to the EY network.
A significant turning point for the consulting and auditing landscape in Francophone Africa.
