German Agency Launches Call for Tunisian Diaspora in Germany for Business Ideas for Development Program
The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) is launching a call for members of the Tunisian diaspora living in Germany as part of the Business Ideas for Development (BID) program. This initiative aims to support innovative project holders in Tunisia with a grant of up to €7,000 and personalized coaching over nine months.
The BID program offers a comprehensive package to turn ideas into viable businesses. Beneficiaries will be able to take advantage of:
- Personalized coaching to refine their project;
- Assistance with market research and business plan optimization;
- Access to a network of entrepreneurs and mentors;
- Support in finding investors and strategic partners.
This program is part of a migration dynamic that serves development, with a focus on social innovation, green technologies, and digital sectors. The MEG program (Promoting Development-Oriented Migration) is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
