National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (Aneti) Supports 3,727 Young Entrepreneurs in 2023
The National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (Aneti) has funded 3,727 projects led by young entrepreneurs in 2023, representing a 5.3% increase compared to the previous year. These figures are part of the agency's annual report.
Breakdown of Funding
- 93.3% of funding was allocated to new projects, while 6.7% was used to expand existing initiatives.
- 41.8% of beneficiaries were higher education graduates, and approximately 60% of supported entrepreneurs were women, highlighting the growing involvement of women in the sector.
Employment Accomplishments
In addition to supporting young entrepreneurs, Aneti achieved several notable accomplishments in the field of employment in 2023:
- The agency collected 43,500 job offers, a 3.6% increase compared to 2022.
- Placements also increased, with 50,588 people finding employment, marking an 11.1% rise.
- Conversely, the number of job seekers decreased by 11.5%, from 442,768 in 2022 to 391,927 in 2023.
Training and Support Efforts
Aneti intensified its training and support efforts, organizing:
- 3,129 collective information sessions
- 196 workshops on life skills
- 10.5% more individual interviews to diagnose the needs of job seekers
However, some initiatives, such as preparation contracts for professional life and civil service contracts, experienced a decline. The number of entrepreneurial projects studied saw a slight increase, with 6,841 files examined in 2023.
