Italy's Embassy in Tunisia Announces New Entry Requirements

As of January 1st, 2025, entry into Tunisia will only be authorized with a passport having a residual validity of at least three months.

Until this date, entry will be exceptionally permitted with a valid foreign travel ID card, provided that it is for organized stays through approved travel agencies, and upon presentation of hotel reservations and round-trip tickets.

In no case can a photocopy of the document, even if certified as conforming to the original, replace the latter. Otherwise, the traveler risks being turned back at the border.

N.B: No entry visa is required for stays of less than 90 days.
