ENSTAB Achieves Prestigious Distinctions in 2024: EUR-ACE Label and ISO 21001 Certification

The National School of Advanced Sciences and Technologies of Borj Cédria (ENSTAB) has taken a significant step forward this year by obtaining two prestigious distinctions in 2024: the EUR-ACE label and the ISO 21001 certification. These international recognitions testify to the institution's academic excellence and conformity to international standards.

Dorra Lounissi, Director of Studies at ENSTAB, looks back on the major distinctions obtained by her institution this year.

European Recognition with the EUR-ACE Label

Obtained in January 2024 and valid until December 2029, the EUR-ACE label attests that the training programs offered by ENSTAB meet European quality standards in engineering. To obtain this distinction, the school conducted an in-depth self-assessment study before submitting an application to the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI).

Following a rigorous audit and a visit to the school's infrastructure, the CTI validated the accreditation, highlighting the relevance and excellence of the courses offered. This label represents a quality guarantee for students and their future employers, both nationally and internationally.

ISO 21001: Quality Management at the Service of Education

ENSTAB has also obtained the ISO 21001 certification after implementing a quality management system aligned with the requirements of this international standard. The external audit, conducted by AQS, confirmed the institution's conformity, thereby strengthening its position among reference educational institutions.

These distinctions will enable the school to enhance its training programs and facilitate the establishment of academic and industrial partnerships on a global scale. They will also contribute to better professional integration of graduates, whether in the Tunisian or international market.

Maintaining Excellence: A Long-Term Strategy

Dorra Lounissi emphasizes the importance of a continuous improvement strategy to maintain these quality standards. "The main objective is to preserve and improve the academic experience of students while increasing their employability," she specifies.

This strategy includes expanding the training programs offered, strengthening dialogue with the employment market, and an institutional ambition to achieve the status of a Public Scientific and Technological Establishment (EPST).

ENSTAB is not content with these recognitions, but seeks to establish itself as a key player in engineering education in Tunisia and beyond.
